Community Forums

Your Voice, Your Choice

We are back for our annual Your Voice, Your Choice Youth Explosion! On April 19th, 2025, from 11 AM - 2 PM at Thompson Middle School (3021 Court St, Saginaw, MI 48602). We'll have live performances, giveaways & prizes you won’t want to miss. There will also be real conversations on mental health and overcoming obstacles along with a chance to connect with other young leaders from the community. And... it's FREE!

How I Overcame

In this Women of Colors (WOC) forum, a panel of women share how they overcame life challenges to succeed and contribute. This forum focuses on improving behavioral health practices and promoting wellness for women and families.

Your Voice, Your Choice

Through this forum, WOC and its partners give students a voice and  address topics that interest middle school- and high school students.  This forum educates, raises awareness, and brings hope to youth.

Time to Have a Conversation

Through this forum, WOC and its community partners address racial injustice, criminal reform, suicide and other social problems and injustices. In addition, it stresses the negative health consequences of using marijuana, alcohol, and other drugs.

I’m Still a Man

This panel, hosted by WOC, involves men who are transparent about  their lived experiences and who share their stories to educate, empower,  and give hope to others.
