Women of Colors to Host Free Youth Event

On Saturday, January 28, Women of Colors will host a free youth event for middle and high school age students.  The event will take place from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Success Academy located at 1000 Tuscola St. in Saginaw.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. Trell “DONK” Webb.  A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Donk is a highly sought after minister and Real Life Speaker. Through his powerful testimony, Donk will share how God saved him from death and paralysis at age 11 and delivered him from a life plus 90 years sentence and imprisonment for murder at age 15, transforming his entire life to be a testament to the power of prayer!

Donk currently serves as the Youth & Culture Pastor at Christian Life Center Worldwide in Atlanta, GA, and is the Founder/CEO of Real Life World Wide Inc., a non-profit organization that aims to “rebuild lives with shattered dreams from unfortunate circumstances in communities all over the world.”

Additionally, Antonio Jackson will share his story of how he went from being an inmate at one of Indiana’s worst prisons, Westville Correctional Facility, to becoming a proud husband, father, successful businessman and entrepreneur.

Other guest speakers include youth entrepreneurs, “The 3 Amigos” and “Little Women at Work” and Pamelia Brazil, YCRA Mortgage Loan Originator, who will lead a financial literacy workshop for adults.

The event is free to attend and there will be giveaways, free t-shirts and snacks (while supplies last).  For more information or questions regarding this youth event, contact Women of Colors at (989) 737-9286.
